With superb resolution across the frame including at F1.8, the Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM is a prime telephoto lens with a large aperture. It will deliver the stunning bokeh to your images as found across the Sony G Master Lenses.
The lens has been beautifully crafted to give the highest standards in optical design. Sony's extra-low dispersion Super ED glass, plus extreme aspherical XA have been carefully positioned; this gives the resulting images superbly correct aberration. Working alongside this, the floating focus system ensures the best resolution is delivered throughout the image edge to edge across the full focal range.
The high surface precision is second to none from the XA elements. Combined with clear cut control over the spherical aberrations in build and design, plus the 11 blade circular aperture; they give this lens the astonishing bokeh associated with G Master lenses from Sony. Pair this with the narrow DOF and unleash your creative abilities when using the 135mm F1.8 lens.
Impressively fast autofocus is delivered by XD Linear Motors from Sony. Keep track of moving subjects with ease from the nearly silent, low vibration autofocus.
The floating focus system works to effectively control aberration across the focal range. This allows the lens to reach a minimum focal distance as low as 0.7 meters. It can achieve a max magnification of 0.25x which is perfect for shooting close up to your subject, making the lens great for intricate detailing with beautiful bokeh backgrounds.
The lens is constructed with fully customisable focus hold buttons. The lens also has a focus range limiter plus an aperture ring with switchable click stops. It is built to be moisture and dust resistant and the front element is fluorine coated to give extra protection.
