Why a Leica M10-P?
The Leica M10-P shares the same technical specifications as the Leica M10 but compounds on the features that make it unobtrusive. By improving upon features that make it the most discreet M camera yet you're able to achieve intimate images with outstanding impact.
Compact body size houses a full-frame sensor and improved rangefinder with a wide field of view and 0.73 magnification. Capture more with a rapid frame rate of 5 frames per second and 2GB of RAM delivering approximately 40 frames before the buffer runs out.
This camera is built to last the test of time. The M Bayonet mount is the same fastener used in the 1950s, delivering 60 years of cross-compatibility with Leica M lenses.
The scope of delivery for the Leica M10-P:
Charger 100-240V with 2 mains cables (Euro) and 1 car charging cable, lithium-ion battery, strap, body bayonet cover and metal hot shoe cover.
Clifton Cameras' review of the Leica M10-P
A joy to shoot with, the Leica M10-P improves on a well-established reputation for beautiful craftsmanship and a focus on making great images. We thoroughly enjoy the simplicity of the controls of the camera and the rangefinder shooting experience.
The clean design, direct access to the three crucial components of photography, and a svelte camera body allow you to focus on making beautiful images. The improved discreet design only serves to further that goal.
While it's an excellent camera and a beautiful item in and of itself it doesn't perform as well as some of its less-expensive rivals, nor does it come with as rich a feature set. However, you're not buying a Leica for either of those reasons.
It also has to be said that Leica lenses are the result of decades of refinement and excellence in craftsmanship. They resolve images with remarkable edge-to-edge clarity and detail when shot wide-open where other manufacturers often recommend you stop your lens down in order to achieve optimal results.
