Join us on Tuesday 14th November for a Printing Workshop with PermaJet at our Academy in Dursley, South Gloucestershire.

Learn about the fantastic range of PermaJet inkjet paper, the importance of calibration, using profiles and how to get the best prints. Plus the opportunity to have some of your own images printed on the day!

The workshop will be hosted by Colin Hulley from PermaJet. With over 30 years of experience in the printing industry, Colin has a wealth of experience and knowledge.

The workshop is FREE but limited to only 10 spaces so registration is required via the form below.

Welcome to the workshop, welcome packs, and introduction to Colin Hulley.
9.30am -10.30am - Introduction to PermaJet
Colin will go through the range of paper by Permajet. 
10.30am - 12.00pm - Choosing the right paper
Colin will talk in a little more detail about how to choose the best paper for your image.
12.00pm - 13.00pm - Break
Teas & coffees with snacks will be available. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or there are several eateries available in Dursley.
12.30pm - 1.30pm - Importance of calibration
Colin will go through why this is such an important part of the printing process.
1.30pm - 2.30pm - Examples showing why you calibrate
Colin will show you examples of why calibration is key and offer to use your image/s as an example.
2.30pm - 4.00pm - Open session
An opportunity to print some of your images using different paper.
4.00pm - 4.30pm - Q&A
Ask Colin question you may have from the day.
4.30pm - End of workshop

About Colin

Colin has been with PermaJet for over 6 years, following 28 years of working with Ilford Photo, giving him a wealth of experience with photographic print media.

Responsible for the PermaJet brand in the Midlands, North of England and Scotland, Colin also provides talks on colour management to Camera Clubs throughout the UK.

  1. Entrance to the workshop is restricted to ten customers, each of which must have registered their place before the 10th Novemeber 2017.

  3. The following activity will be put on throughout the day to give you the chance to learn about printing and get expert advice: Printing Workshop with PermaJet.
  4. All people attending the day will receive a Welcome Pack and exlusive offers.
  5. Whilst on the workshop you will be provided with teas and coffees on arrival. Snacks will be also be made available for the midday break but lunch is not included.
  6. You are welcome to bring your own images to the workshop. This can be done so on a memory card or USB drive and must be of suitable resolution for up to A3+.
  7. All participants agree to have their photographs taken throughout the workshop, and for these images to be used for any activities in association with the advertising, marketing and promotion of this or future events and workshops.
  8. All participants allow Clifton Cameras Ltd to use images, whilst retaining full copyright, the participant has taken on the day. These images may be used in conjunction with activities associated with the advertising, marketing and promotion of this or future workshops/events.
