How good is the Mavic Air 2 at shooting video?
With a 1/2 inch CMOS sensor, the Mavic Air 2 will capture clear 4K 60fps video. Supported by a 3 axis gimbal, it offers a smooth and stable balance to your video even in challenging shots.
D-Cinelike flat colour profiling retains detailed imaging info, allowing to experiment in post-production. While an HEVC (H.265) video codec records masses of information while consuming a minimal amount of storage. It will preserve your footages’ dynamic range while giving optimal detail to your hard work.
HDR Video
A powerful Quad Bayer image sensor allows the Air 2 to produce stunning HDR video. Wow your audience with incredible light/dark detailing. It does this by separating your exposure levels in every single frame in different areas.
It will layer your images giving strong balance, colour and high dynamic range to your images. HDR is available in Video, Stills and Panoramic imaging modes - offering you endless possibilities.
Can I use the Mavic Air 2 for Aerial Photography?
Absolutely, with the excellent image sensor, you can capture large 48-megapixel stills offering you high detail. Even when zooming and cropping your images later on.
What is SmartPhoto mode?
SmartPhoto is a feature on the Mavic Air 2 which allows you to almost effortlessly capture beautiful images. Think of it as essentially scene recognition combined with HyperLight and HDR modes all in one.
The scene recognition mode will optimise the camera’s various parameters to pick up on what is happening in the frame. These modes range from sunsets to blue skies and grass/snow. It can also be set for challenging lighting conditions to support you in any setting.
The HyperLight mode is initiated when you need support in low lighting. It has noise reduction and gives much better clarity to your shot. HDR is used in this setting to improve the dynamic range. It adjusts exposure and layering to give you the optimal settings for vibrancy and detail.

Spotlight 2.0
Lock your camera onto the subject and focus your creativity on the flight. This mode allows you to select your subject and let the drone do the tracking.
ActiveTrack 3.0
Follow your subject confidently around obstacles. Activetrack 3.0 features advanced pathfinding technology. This is combined with a powerful prediction of lost subjects.
It keeps your subject in the centre of the frame even when it is blocked or obscured by an object. Perfect for action shots and shooting in built-up areas.
Point of Interest (POI) 3.0

Stunning 8K Hyperlapse
