The newly developed Leica Summilux-TL is marking THE reference lens for the APS-C format class and has performance characteristics that are unequaled in all respects to comparable lenses and by that permit the exploitation of the full potential of modern camera systems.
It delivers superb resolution and color reproduction and a classic 50mm angle of view. Its manual focusing ring enables smooth adjustments during shooting.
Product Features
The Leica Summilux-TL f1.4 lens is designed to create best in class images. 12 lens elements, thereof 2 aspherical ones, in 8 groups guarantee excellent sharpness and color rendition throughout all distances and all apertures. The f1.4 offers the option to get creative with depth of field by producing a marvelous bokeh. It enables low light capabilities that are fast enough for shooting in just about any light. Thanks to internal focusing, the overall length of the lens remains unchanged when focusing.
The Leica Summilux-TL lenses are built with the best quality material – glass and metal - and assembled in our own factory in Wetzlar. Besides their optical performance they excite with a matchless touch and feel and smooth operation. The silver lens complements magnificently the look of the silver T body.
