Leica Q3 43 Digital Camera
The Leica Q3 43 comes equipped with a 43mm lens for a natural perspective equivalent to the human eye. This makes it a must for street, travel and event photography as well as portraits. The lens also features an integrated macro mode thanks to its minimum focus distance of just 27cm and fast f/2 aperture that produces a shallow depth of field for outstanding bokeh.
The camera offers a 60MP sensor with a Maestro IV series processor that allows you to capture incredibly detailed images and 8K Ultra HD video.

New APO-Summicron 43mm f/2 ASPH Fixed Lens
The Leica Q3 43 gets its name due to the included APO-Summicron 43mm f/2 ASPH fixed lens that delivers a field of view that resembles the human eye. The lens ensures that proportions and distances are reproduced accurately as the 43mm focal length corresponds mathematically to the diagonal of the full-frame sensor (24 × 36 mm). Another benefit is that the lens offers an extended field of view over a standard 50mm lens without losing depth or richness of detail.
Apochromatic Lens Design (APO)
The lens features an Apochromatic Lens Design (APO) which ensures that colour aberrations are minimised for sharper, high contrast and accurate colour reproduction from edge-to-edge, not just the centre.
Integrated Macro Mode
The 43mm f/2 is also a fantastic choice for macro shooters thanks to its 27cm minimum focus distance that allows you to capture the finest details with no spherical aberrations, purple fringing or corner softness. This is further aided by the fast f/2 aperture that produces a shallow depth of field and beautiful bokeh as well as superb low-light performance, giving you the option of a wide range of photographic styles.
New Shooting Range
The Leica Q3 43 features a digital zoom so that your 43mm essentially becomes a zoom lens. This gives you the option to zoom in at up to 150mm by cropping into the image.

Design & Build
The lens is constructed from 11 elements in 8 groups, including 7 aspherical elements and features a 49mm filter diameter. The lens is almost the same size and weight as the 28mm lens thanks to the use of aspherical elements that reduce size and weight without compromising optical quality.
New Look
The Leica Q3 43 features a new preset called "Leica Chrome" that delivers a refined, desaturated palette, emphasising subtle contrasts for a sophisticated, understated effect. You can upload this look to your camera by using the Leica FOTOS App and can store up to six Leica looks at any one time.

What is the capacity of the battery?
The new BC-SCL6 battery has been designed with a capacity of 2200mAh, this provides you with a 17% higher performance compared to the previous BP-SCL4 battery. In order to make full use of the Leica Q3's 8K recording we would recommend using the BC-SCL6 battery, as it has also been optimised for 8K recording.
