The Pentax AP 8X30 WP Binoculars offer outstanding clarity with a 8x magnification. The optics have been fully coated to provide maximum light transmission, resulting in high quality viewing with minimal internal glare and flare.
Pentax A-Series
The Pentax A-series of binoculars are a more compact, portable and durable version of the S-series. They feature new fully multi coated lenses, phase correction, BaK4 prism, and a new enhanced light transmission coating to provide crystal sharp images and superb contrast.
Minimal ghost and flaring
The lenses have been fully multi-coated to maximize the amount of light passing through the lens and to help prevent flare and ghosting.
New Enhanced Light Transmission Coatings
These binoculars take quality optics to the next level by applying a new, optimized film-deposition technology on lens and prism surfaces resulting in increased light transmission which creates bright images with accurate color rendition
BaK4 prisms
Due to its outstanding refractive index, the BaK4 glass prism found in all PENTAX Sport Optics is highly acclaimed for its perfectly round exit pupil and clear, unvignetted image.
Long eye relief design
The binoculars feature a long eye relief design which allows the viewer to see the entire field of view clearly and effortlessly. This is especially beneficial to eyeglass wearers, and allows viewing for extended periods of time without added eye strain.
Waterproof
The binoculars are waterproof and can provide a fog proof view as they have been fully sealed and purged with laboratory grade nitrogen. They can even be submerged in up to 3ft of water thanks to their JIS Class 6 rating.
