The Pentax ZD 10x50 WP binoculars offer outstanding clarity with an 8x magnification. The optics have been fully coated to provide maximum light transmission, resulting in high quality viewing with minimal internal glare and flare.
Pentax Z-Series
The Pentax Z-series binoculars have been designed to be tough whilst delivering outstanding image quality, edge-to-edge sharpness, unsurpassed brightness & clarity as well as exceptional resolution under twilight conditions.
Minimal ghost and flaring
The lenses have been fully multi-coated to maximize the amount of light passing through the lens and to help prevent flare and ghosting.
Edge-to-edge sharpness
The binoculars utilize aspherical lens elements in the eyepieces to achieve edge-to-edge sharpness via a specially shaped lens design that helps to keep aberration to a minimum.
Dielectric coating
The prisms have a dielectric coating that helps to enhance the colours of the image. The coatig has been applied with multiple layers to maximize the quality of visible light in the colour spectrum between infra-red and ultra-violet as it passes through the glass.
Long eye relief design
The binoculars feature a long eye relief design which allows the viewer to see the entire field of view clearly and effortlessly. This is especially beneficial to eyeglass wearers, and allows viewing for extended periods of time without added eye strain.
Strong magnesium build
The binoculars have been constructed from magnesium to offer even more protection against shocks and impacts.
Waterproof
The binoculars are waterproof and can provide a fog proof view as they have been fully sealed and purged with laboratory grade nitrogen. They can even be submerged in up to 3ft of water thanks to their JIS Class 6 rating.
