61MP Back-illuminated full-frame Bayer sensor
The Sigma fp L is capable of offering superb image quality that displays exceptionally fine details and renders colours beautifully. The highest ever sensor on any Sigma camera features a low-pass filter which adds to the optical performance by reducing the effects of moiré.
Crop Zoom Feature
Thanks to a super high-resolution 61MP, users can heavily crop into an image and still have more than enough resolution for almost any need. Sigma has introduced a new Crop Zoom feature that works in both still and cine modes, allowing users to digitally zoom into images, AS YOU SHOOT. This means that the focal length of lenses can be effectively increased should the need arise.
When shooting video the fp L can record in full HD even at it’s maximum 5x zoom without losing any image quality. The Crop Zoom feature allows a simple pinch zoom on the LCD touch screen, making the camera incredibly intuitive and flexible in many shooting situations.
Hybrid AutoFocus
The Sigma fp L features fast image area phase-detection AF alongside high-precision contrast AF. This allows users to experience smooth autofocus that is fast and accurate when tracking moving subjects when shooting stills or video.
Web-cam Functionality
Turn the SIGMA fp L into a webcam with just a USB-C cable. The camera supports USB charging while the camera is in use so you can experience unlimited streaming.
Unlimited Power Supply
The SIGMA fp L supports USB-C charging while the camera is in use, meaning that the user can connect the camera to an external power source when on location and shoot without interruption.
Save and Share Camera Settings
The fp L allows you to save custom camera settings to be kept as QR code image data so that you can load them quickly. This feature also allows a new way for users to share their own custom settings with other creatives either in person or digitally via forums or social media for example.
NEW Colour Tones
Powder Blue and Duotone are two new striking colour modes on the Sigma fp L. The Powder Blue colour mode produces a bright and clean feel with the Duotone colour mode creating an impactful two-colour image.
The addition of these two new colour modes now means that users have a total of 15 modes to choose from when shooting stills or video.
