This summer Tamron has now announced the development of the brand new Tamron 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD Lens, this lens is the first full-frame Tamron Lens that is compatible with the Nikon Z mount system. The lens has been designed to preserve the high-quality optical design everyone has come to expect and love from TAMRON in a small compact system, this full-frame mirrorless lens weighs only 580g (20.5oz) with a length of only 150.30mm (5.9 in).


Exceptional Optical design 

Optimised for the perfect balance between size and high-quality optical performance, this lens has been created with 15 elements in 10 groups. This includes a low dispersion lens, precisely arranged to suppress axial chromatic abrasions, that may commonly affect zoom lenses. The Design of this lens allows you to achieve excellent edge-to-edge resolution even at 300mm.


Expert Level Anti-reflective Coating

The lens has a BBAR (Broad-Band Anti Reflection) coating, helping to reduce the effect of reflections and glare on the lens's performance. Allowing you to maintain a crisp and clear image throughout its entire focal length.


Compatible with Dedicated TAMRON Lens Utility Software

Keep the Tamron 70-300mm up to date with the latest firmware thanks to the TAMRON Lens Utility Software. Enabling you to easily update the lens without through the camera.


Moisture-Resistant Construction 

The Tamron 70-300mm lens has a moisture-resistant construction, with seals located at critical locations on the lens including the mounting point helping to create a tight seal around the lens. Reducing the chance of moisture entering the lens or the camera, providing another layer of protection when shooting in adverse weather conditions.


Exceptionally Quiet RXD (Rapid Extra Silent Stepping Drive) Motor

The Tamron 70-300mm lens has professional quality AF capabilities thanks to the incorporation of a sensor to accurately detect the position of the lens. Coupled with the RXD motor unit, this lens provides exceedingly fast and quiet optimal AF control. Supporting tack-sharp focus even on a continuously moving subject, this AF can be used in several busy sporting events and can be used discreetly in a concert hall or similar situations.


Intended Use

This highly practical and versatile lens can be used for several different photographs or settings, the quiet auto-focus even allows you to use it for video shooting.
